- You have to be careful with the heat sources and have very good monitored thermostats to prevent the box from melting.
-You must drill enough air holes to allow air flow into the tub, without sacrificing the humidity requirements.
-Your snake could squeeze through if the lid has any lift allowance, if it does, fix it with lid clamps or air tubes for tanks.
Personally, for keeping just one snake, a tank would be more convenient, but if yu must keep the snake in a tub for whatever reason it is do-able. Just be careful and make sure the tub is both heat and snake protected.
Don't place the snake inside a cupboard though. Please keep it where there is air-flow, the tub can't be knocked off and where you can easily monitor the tub for heating issues that may arise.
