Cold Therapy Treatment As a Way to Relieve Back Pain
Cold therapy treatment has a number of benefits in rehabilitation including pain relief, decrease in bleeding, and reducing swelling and inflammation. The reduction of cell damage and deadening of nerve cell activity are the keys to cold therapy. Cold treatments are the best immediate treatment for acute injuries because they reduce swelling and pain. Hospital studies show that patients who use cold treatments on injuries tend to require much less pain medication than other patients. Cold treatments are a very effective way to treat back pain, especially if you have suffered a back injury or back strain. Cold therapy treatment, also known as cryotherapy, should be applied for the first 3 days following any type of acute injury such as a back sprain or muscle strain.
Cryotherapy devices include can include a simple ice pack, cold gel packs, cold wraps as well as electronically cooled units having a plurality of precise controls and features. Currently, electronically controlled units are typically used in hospitals and clinics due to their costs. Cold gel therapy pads are comfortable and remain flexible at low temperatures. If you drink cold water then hot water then cold water etc, can this process get rid of disease like virus?
As I observe the idea of Water therapy. If you are in a place where there is a shortage of medicine and you a sick with a virus or bacteria infection. Is it a good idea to drink some cold water then some hot water then some cold water then some hot water etc (to change the environment or temperature of your body frequency so the virus or bacteria can’t stand the body environment which may able to get rid of them) until medicine is available?
No it cant. Your body temp doesnt change like that. It is always at a normal range natuarlly between 97-99 degrees F. anyways, yes drinking water is one of the best things you can do for your health while you are sick, but it does not cure a bacterial or viral infection.
