There are two types of bariatric chairs available in renray health cares range.
First the bariatric elite chair.
This chair can seat people up to 25stone,has easy grip arms and splayed legs for better stability the sacral gap allows easy access to fit hoist slings it also features a visco elastic cushion which helps in the treatment of pressure ulcers. It is easy to clean due to its removable seat.
Second is the bariatric arm chair.
This is the daddy of bariatric chairs and is built to last it can take a weight of up to 40stone, ot features a very sturdy,robust wooden frame and is held together with High Quality heavy duty bolts. It also features a removeable visco elastic cushion for easy cleaning.
Both bariatric chairs feature house keeping wheels, these are a godsend as these are very heavy chairs, so the wheels make them easy to move when empty. They are available in many colours and for such a big strong chair they look really nice.
A bariatric chair is suitable for someone of considerable weight who isn't very mobile as the visco cushion moulds itself to the shape of the person sitting in it therefore providing maximum comfort.
They are built for long term seating comfort and super strength.
