Spy ear, or bionic ear?
Hmm, if anyone saw,"Theres something about Mary" I'm looking for a spy ear like, the one that Pat Helio used.So probably, cost:=$40 and Range:=100 ft. size:=Not to big And it should be able to go thru walls.Not a all around me amplifier, but one that you point it at a specific place and here the people there.

A cheapo bionic ear with some good electronics might run you $40 or so, it'll be some kind of parabolic dish with a microphone that has some amplifier and filtering circuitry. Its amazing what a simple parabolic dish can do as far as directionality is concerned. You'll still get lots of interference from anything else that makes a sound nearby, and it most likely wont work through walls unless whoever you want to hear is opposite to the wall you're next to.
There are supposedly some laser-type bionic ears. The theory is that you point a laser at a surface where you want to hear whats going on, like a window. An optical sensor then tracks the oscillations of the reflected laser beam light, and translates that into an audio signal. Good luck finding one of those cheap.
Either way, being a peeping "audio" tom is probably not the best way to make friends with your neighbors.
