Now you have brought your bundle of joy home, your life will now begin to change in amazing ways. Being a parent, you have to be more alert of what is in and around your home. Some things could be deadly to your child.
As your child gets older you will need to start childproofing your home. A child is always constantly getting involved with things around the home. The most excellent way to avoid any accidents from taking place is to supervise your child and childproofing your home.
Depending on the age of your child, you should childproof with safety products that are one stage ahead of their baby's abilities.
• It is recommended that you get down to your child’s level and look at things from their point of view, often we can miss things that they will find, so get down there and see what you can find, (outlets, cords, small objects, etc.) take your time because they will. They are exploring a new world and every inch of it.
• The first thing you will want to purchase even before you bring that bundle of joy home is a child restraint system for ultimate security and make sure that you know how to install it properly. As they grow you also may want to purchase other items like outlet covers, cabinet locks, child gates, toilet seat latches, door knob locks, bed rails and other items to keep your child safe.
Your child’s safety is in your hands so please take the time to learn what you can do to protect them.

how do i remove small safety pins from the toilet?
my son threw alot of safety pins in the toilet how do i get them out? it has a small hole made in the toilet so i can't reach my hand in to get all of them out
Go to your auto store or hardware store where they sell a tool that has a magnet attached to a retractable car antenna looking device. Insert the magnet into the toilet bowl, and any pins that haven't already gone down the waste line, will be retrieved by the magnet.
