The pic looks like a MOEN set, what you will need to buy is a cartridge and it looks something like this: http://www.everyfaucet.com/Moen-1225-MOE2786.html . if you take the large round part (it proly has 2 screws) off it will expose the pipes, once you see the pipes you will see on the left and right what looks like a screw on either side connected to the pipe itself, these are the water cut off's go ahead and turn them off by turning them clockwise. Now the thing in the middle is the cartridge or the stem, take the cap off then pull the stem out, take it to home depot and match it up. Then put the new stem on then the cap, turn the cut off's back on put the round cover back on and the handle and there you go. Hope this helps.........GOOD LUCK!
